What we do

We work for the people who build

With roughly 100 painters on staff, we work for everyone from general contractors, property managers and developers to homeowners. They all hire us for the same reason: we take pride in getting the details right, and we have the headcount to hold a schedule instead of stretching it.

Multi-Family

commercial Apartments, condominiums and mixed-use: unit interiors, common areas and building exteriors, staffed to hold a floor-by-floor schedule. The Somm Hotel in Woodinville: a five-storey hotel clad in grey and tan vertical metal siding, THE SOMM lettering on the gable end, with the Bin 41 restaurant and its red awnings at street level above a stone base.

Commercial

commercial Offices, retail, hotels and warehouses, scheduled around a building that stays open. Townhomes

commercial Attached and rowhouse communities: full-envelope exteriors and unit interiors across an entire development. A row of new production homes mid-paint: RC painters on extension ladders at the rooflines and another at an open garage, paint buckets and a compact excavator on the bare ground in front, and SOLD signs in the upper windows.

New Homes

residential Production and spec homes for builders, priced, scheduled and finished to a builder’s punch list. A two-storey modern custom home in grey lap siding and grey panels, a cedar-clad chimney rising through the centre, a standing-seam copper roof over the entry, two dark glass-panel garage doors, and a planted front garden of Japanese maples and daylilies.

Custom Houses

residential High-end custom homes: millwork, cabinetry and specialty finishes held to an owner’s punch list. A grey sports car on a lift in a finished garage, a glossy grey flake floor coating stretching across the foreground, with red tool cabinets along the back wall.

Specialty Coatings

commercial Floor systems, fire-resistive coatings and seamless finishes. Specified work, applied to the spec. A finished two-storey great room with white walls, an open gallery rail, and a stone fireplace flanked by painted built-ins.

Your Home

homeowner Repaints for homeowners, one room or the whole house, with one project manager from the first visit to the final walkthrough. A corridor at the Somm Hotel papered floor-to-ceiling with line drawings of corkscrews, bottle openers and barrels in the style of patent illustrations, running the length of a white wall above a dark timber floor.
